Natural stone can be damaged through abrasive domestic cleaning products or surface erosion/scratches. Our restoration process includes re-surfacing the stone back to a smooth surface finish. Colour enhancement can help bring out natural veining and colour variation whilst still achieving waterproofing qualities. The natural stone can either be polished to a high glaze or left on a matt finish.
Natural stone is polished by means of crystallisation, it is a method that bonds the surface molecules together to achieve a high gloss shine. Some natural stones develop traffic wear over time which needs to be re-polished to help with longevity. To enable natural stone to keep its gloss, periodic polishing maintenance programmes can be implemented.
Through our detailed repair service broken, damaged and chipped natural stone can rebedded and repaired utilising a two part epoxy resin filler, by adopting this process it can reduce the time and inconvenience of a costly replacements. The repair can be colour matched to suit any material - marble, granite and limestone, on both interior and exterior stone.
Granite kitchen work surfaces, although very durable do suffer from water damage and staining. To enable your work tops to stay at their best condition, chemical sealing should be applied to prevent this. Our process enables us to produce a surface that does not require specialist products on daily basis to produce a clean finish.
